A Prayer for Guidance

Dear God,

It is time. I love to write, and I am READY to write.

With your guidance, I am ready to share the details of the journey that led me to myself. So today, I ask for your hand on my heart and work. Help me stay focused and inspired and to remember that the goal is to enliven the spirits of people who, like me, have chosen to venture INSIDE.

Allow my words to be the balm that soothes their tired feet as they travel through the unpredictable terrain. Use my experience to propel them forward so that their gifts might pour from them into the hearts of others. 

I am yours. I yearn to be your scribe. Use me to brighten the pathway to joy and freedom. Allow this writing to add depth and faith to the power of personal inquiry.

Bless this writing and bless all who happen upon it. With gratitude, I release this prayer.
