A Prayer for Guidance (Pt. 2)

Dear God,

Thank you for leading me to my heart. Thank you for leading me to myself. Thank you for taking me to my darkness so I could find the light.

“When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.”

(Wayne Dyer)

I know I am not the only person who struggles with unworthiness and comparison. I know I am not the only person who battles anxiety and fear. I simply cannot be the only person who questions the choices I’ve made and doubts my path. I cannot be the only person on the planet who craves a “do over.”

With your help I am turning the page. The late Wayne Dyer said it best—"When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.” Although I have tried, for years, to change the way I look at things, the changes have been temporary. After reading hundreds of books, doing mountains of personal inquiry, therapy, workshops, and discussions with my amazing family, friends, and business partners who have put up with me, I have turned to YOU. I am no longer walking alone.

Help me to take and share my journey from guilt, shame, remorse and regret to love, compassion, non-attachment and acceptance. Help me to write the book I wish I could have read to help me forgive myself and others sooner. Help me to share My journey through the window of the woman next door.
